Risk disclosure

Last updated: [effective date]

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a plain-English working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel and may change before it takes effect. Items in amber brackets are to be provided by MUZA Capital.

Read this before you trade. You can lose the full value of any digital asset you hold or trade.

1. What is and is not live

  • Exchange balances are demo credit. On-chain deposits and withdrawals for the exchange are not live yet. Spot balances, and anything you trade them for, have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
  • P2P trading is not open. You can browse offers. Do not send money to anyone for a P2P order until P2P is shown as open on the status page.
  • Fiat banking is a simulation. No real money is deposited, held or paid out.
  • Paper trading is simulated. Stocks and external crypto use reference prices and virtual cash. No orders reach a real market.
  • The bridge may be paused. Check its state on the status page before sending funds. Assets sent while it is paused may be delayed.

2. Market risk

Digital asset prices can move sharply in minutes. New tokens such as OYO, BRT and KDAR may have little trading history and thin order books, so prices can be volatile and large orders can move the price. There may be no buyer at the price you want.

3. Self-custody risk

The Leviathan wallet is self-custody. Its keys are generated in your browser and never sent to MUZA. If you lose your recovery phrase, or someone else obtains it, we cannot recover or reverse anything. Transactions you sign on a blockchain are final.

4. Blockchain and smart-contract risk

MuzaDEX pools, tokens and the bridge rely on smart contracts and on MUZA Chain and other networks operating correctly. Software defects, network outages, congestion or attacks can cause delays or losses. Network fees (gas) are paid to the network and are not refundable.

5. Bridge risk

Moving assets between chains depends on deposits being detected and confirmed on the source chain. Sending the wrong asset, using the wrong network, or sending from an address other than the one shown can result in loss.

6. Reference prices

Reference prices on this site come from third-party market-data sources. They may be delayed or wrong and are not prices at which MUZA will trade with you.

7. Regulatory risk

Rules on digital assets differ by country and change often. You are responsible for checking whether you may use this service where you live and for any tax due. Regulatory status: [to be provided by MUZA Capital].

8. No advice

Nothing on this site, including market analysis in the app, is investment, legal or tax advice. Decide for yourself, and only trade what you can afford to lose.
